Privacy policy

Last updated 30 September 2026. This policy covers getsages.com, the Sage portal and the Sage assistant that businesses add to their websites.

Business accounts

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and a Google account id. We use them only to create and secure your account. We also store what you set up in the portal: your site settings, instructions and the documents you add.

People who use the assistant on a website

When a visitor talks to the assistant we store the conversation (questions, answers and the pages visited) so the business that runs the website can review it. We keep the visitor's address only to limit abuse. If a visitor gives their name, email or phone number, it is stored for that business so they can follow up.

Spoken questions are sent to our speech-to-text provider to be transcribed and are not kept as audio. Questions and answers are processed by our AI model provider to produce replies. Neither provider may use them for anything else.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Vercel, Upstash and Railway). We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account and its data, and businesses can delete any conversation from the portal. To make a request, use the contact page.
